Cactus Squirrel
Build a brand from the ground-up.
Cactus Squirrel was a remarkable anomaly and feat for me, born from years of experience in the game industry. This experiment in branding taught me invaluable lessons in business management and building an online personality. What started as an experiment evolved into a brand that sells t-shirts, creates webtoon comics, and produces a specialized annual planner. The brand has cultivated a cult following, with planners selling out each year, often requiring restocks to meet demand. Cactus Squirrel proved my ability to build a thriving community from a world of strangers, transforming them into 'true fans' who resonate with the brand's deep message of healthy self-help.
This experience has been invaluable as a marketer, showcasing my ability to create compelling brands, engage diverse audiences, and foster lasting loyalty—skills that are critical to any successful marketing strategy. I built a cult following on Twitch, consistently earning income from a supportive viewer base, maintained loyal Patreon subscribers for years, and saw strangers buying my notebooks in local cafés. People even share stories of being complimented in public for wearing Cactus Squirrel shirts—an organic testament to the brand's impact.
Branding///Sold Out
Planners
More than just dates on a page — these annual planners blend self-reflection, visual storytelling, and healthy self-discipline. They've sold out year after year, with fans requesting restocks before the new year even hits. They’re not just tools; they’re cult-favorite lifelines designed to help people build routines that feel good — and actually stick.
Merchandising
I don’t just design shirts — I create walking conversations. My clothing has become so recognizable that people have literally been stopped in grocery stores just to ask where they got it. These designs don’t follow trends — they tap into something personal, bold, and deeply resonant. Built from the ground up, each piece is rooted in community and expression, not mass production.
Twitch Branding
This wasn’t something I set out to grow or monetize — it just naturally evolved. It started with sharing stories and creating a space that felt real. I’ve built stream brands that make viewers feel seen and heard through emotional storytelling, custom emotes, visual cohesion, and subtle narrative arcs. Grown adults have messaged me saying they were moved to tears—not from hype, but from finally feeling understood. That’s what real branding does: it connects, comforts, and quietly builds trust without trying to sell anything.
Webtoon Comics
My webcomics aren’t just panels and punchlines — they’re deeply personal storylines that resonate. From humor to healing, I use webtoons to reflect the mental health journeys we often keep quiet. Rooted in years of community-building and character development, these comics turn everyday struggles into art that feels human — and helps others feel less alone.
